Oyeyemi is a London-based Nigerian fine artist and designer whose creative journey began at the age of six, when he would recreate drawings from his older brother’s sketchbook. Despite his Nigerian parents’ aspirations for him to pursue a conventional career, Oyeyemi’s love for art remained unwavering. Throughout his school years, he excelled in art subjects, laying the foundation for his future in the arts.

In 2009, Oyeyemi discovered his passion for music and became known in his neighbourhood for his captivating raps. By 2012, he needed cover art for his music but couldn’t afford a Graphic Designer. This necessity sparked his exploration of design software like Corel Draw and PixArt. His talent for Graphic Design blossomed, and by 2016, with the support of his brother, he formally trained in Photoshop. This new skill became a source of sustenance during his college years, enabling him to design music covers, logos, and event flyers for clients Worldwide, all while pursuing his music career.

In a full-circle moment, Oyeyemi reconnected with his first love—drawing and painting—this time embracing digital art. His works gained significant attention, and he recognized the profound impact of his art when one of his paintings resulted in the suspension of a university staff member.

Since 2018, Oyeyemi has made remarkable strides in the creative industry, collaborating with notable industry figures and earning recognition from several prominent artists and entertainers.
